Synopsis
Two men are trapped in a confined space that they interpret as their cell. Now the only world that exists for them, since being taken against their will, is that cell and an enigmatic White Room where there are few clues as to their immediate predicament.
As the tension builds, both characters explore their limits of emotional stamina, whilst the twists and turns of their relationship mirror their increasing desperation to find a way out and discover answers to their questions.
Locked Up is a play about trust and betrayal that directly engages with the current political and social landscape, and addresses the nature of integrity and honesty in everyone, from the most powerful to the insignificant and vulnerable.
